The aircraft that opened South Paciific at the Muny was not the B-17 LIberty Bell, but Show Me, a B-25 flown with tender loving care by our own Missouri Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.Jun 30, 2009

Several years ago I saw "South Pacific" at the Muny. During the overture of the show, a WWII bomber flew low over the audience. It was great - and totally set the mood for the show. I didn't realize until now, but I bet the plane was the Liberty Belle. Thanks Muny and Liberty Belle (I think) for a great memory.Jun 24, 2009
