First birthday for St. Louis zoo tiger c...
By: Huy Mach
The five Amur tiger cubs turn 1-year-old on April 28 at the St. Louis Zoo. The two males are about 200-pounds and three females are about 30-pound less. It's difficult to distinguish them from their mother, Kalista.

Let's re-do the bear pits prior to getting new polar bears. The poor grizzlies are hurting-the concrete enclosures are not suited for these megnificient animals. (this is in response to the trade a tiger comment). As far as the tigers-love em and hope they stay with us for quite some time.Apr 28, 2009
