Thank you Mr. Dailey for having the courage to share what you know, and to try to make amends as best you can. This is a tragic and monumental problem in our state that has recently been affecting my own life. We were in the middle of purchasing the rural property of our dreams in Franklin Co. only to find out that the house had been home to a notorious meth cooker and the property is a toxic hazard. The legal entanglements look overwhelming at this point, and the state and county offer very little help. We feel we have nowhere to turn for help. It is a nightmare. This problem has the potential to destroy our beautiful state, the health and success of our future generations, our property values, our environment, our general physical and fiscal health, our ability to attract desirable commercial enterprises and investments, etc. etc. We have to come together and address this in a serious and immediate way, or we will be in a downward spiral that will be hard to stop. Mr. Dailey, God Bless you, and keep pushing this issue, your knowledge can be invaluable in helping keep people safe.Dec 22, 2008
