The real question that needs to be asked is, "whats going on in Kirkwood?" I've been listening to stories for over 10 years about the racial divide in Kirkwood. Even if this event hadn't taken place there would have been something else just as significant sooner or later. Maybe someone will make a conscious effort to investigate race relations in this area.

To turn this horrible crime into a racial epidimic is just pitiful. This man that every one seems to be defending has taken the lives of several innocent people. People with children. I think it is sad and my heart and prayers go out to the families of the victims. Wake up people! This was a two sided person that some people are making out to be a poor mistreated black man!

This incident should be viewed not as a racial issue, but as an economic issue. For years, Meacham Park was a backwater that no municipality in that area wanted in their city. (Kirkwood, Webster, Crestwood) Until 1991, when Kirkwood decided that this area in particular was in fact valuable. And what happened to Meacham Park? They did interview some black people, the problem is that they called the shooter a "hero" and defended his terrible crimes.
